Hokies United is a student-driven volunteer effort organized to respond to local, national, and international tragedies that may impact our students
and community. This most recent tragedy, the earthquake and subsequent
tsunami in Japan, has taken an indescribable toll on one of our closest friends and allies.
To help our friends and neighbors in Japan, we are uniting again to raise needed funds.
The Japanese Association (JA) at Virginia Tech and the Japanese community thank everyone for their support on April 2 at the International Street Fair. The students of JA are continuing to raise funds for the people of Japan in conjunction with a larger, crane-folding initiative. If you want to participate in this fund-raising activity, please fold cranes and bring them to Akiko Nakamura nakamura@vt.edu or Reina Koganemaru rkoganemaru@gmail.com. Thank you for your support!
